Course Description

It often takes a while for courses to mature into something quite special, but Cottingham, which opened to the public exactly ten years ago, has done just that. It has the look of a young course on old shoulders and is perfectly able to test the gifted player as well as the Sunday morning duffer who's out for a bit of fun.

The course has been carefully designed and no hole is wasted on you. There are enough water features to make you think carefully about your club selection, particularly the 12th. The green is surrounded by nasty traps; two greenside bunkers, a mound and no less than three water features!

The 10th and 18th are both excellent par fives that are also protected by numerous hazards. It's advisable you buy a strokesaver!
