Course Description

With the wonderful surroundings of the glorious Somerset countryside all around, Brean golf club is one of the most strikingly attractive courses in the United Kingdom, filling almost 100 acres of lush, green meadowland.

Brean is also one of the friendliest clubs in Somerset and a warm welcome is assured whether it is for a social round of golf fopr one person or a society golf day for a larger group. Being based on Brean Leisure Park there is plenty for the whole family to do as well as being just a golf course.

 

Water features are prominent on many of the holes and, being near the sea, coastal breezes have been known to add an extra dimension to the play.

Watch out for the par 5 seventh. Measuring 583 yards from the Medal tee (604yds from Championship Tee!), it has done much damage to many a scorecard in the past and will probably continue to do so in the future. A large lake guards the approach to the green which has to be pinpoint accurate to gain success.
