Course Description

Gillingham may be short, but there are plenty of first time visitors who go out expecting an easy ride of it only to walk off the 18th green with their tails between their legs. The reason it is fairly tough is that the fairways are quite narrow and the conifer trees very unforgiving. Get you ball in the wrong position off the tee and you could find yourself in some unwanted trouble.

Many golfing locals believe the greenkeeping team has worked wonders in the last 18 months or so and it's hard to disagree. The greens, which, amazingly, once suffered from various diseases, are now rumoured to be among the fastest and the best in the area.
